
Our Story
When opening a restaurant, the first thing you think about is its name, a name that also carries a message to the audience you hope to welcome. In our case, choosing a new name was never really an option. For nearly a hundred years, Biarritz Restaurant has operated in this very building, and preserving its heritage and tradition is both important and binding.
Biarritz is located in a region of France largely inhabited by Basques, and with San Sebastián – widely regarded as one of the capitals of gastronomy – nearby, this connection helped us define the direction our kitchen aims to represent in the future.
Combining Basque and French flavours is an exciting challenge, while naturally giving due recognition to some of the finest elements of Hungarian cuisine as well.
Now, hospitality, and the importance we place on it, has returned to the Biarritz Restaurant, transformed into a warm and welcoming place. We are ready, and we look forward to welcoming everyone.
